Policy network meeting in the Czech republic

More than 40 representatives of ministries, state forests and private forest owners from 10 different countries joined in the Czech Republic in spring 2018. The discussed the future of integrated forest management in Europe and its challenges and opportunities, mainly from of policy viewpoint. The activity report can be found here.

Agenda

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic together with the Forest Management Institute and the The State Enterprise - Forests of the Czech Republic (Lesy České republiky, s.p.) have the honour to invite to the “European Network INTEGRATE” meeting.

The meeting includes a visit to Marteloscope demonstration sites in the Czech Republic and provides enough space for intense discussions of different issues related to the integration of nature conservation into sustainably managed forests. Stakeholders involved in the network are political decision-makers, forest practitioners/managers, and researchers who contribute academic knowledge.
